Overview
Braxton Berrios is a veteran receiver and returner on the Giants' practice squad. He was elevated for each of the first three games of 2026, the most times a practice-squad player can be elevated in a season.
New England drafted Berrios in the sixth round, No. 210 overall, in 2018 out of Miami. He spent 2019-22 with the Jets and was a first-team All-Pro kick returner in 2021, when he averaged 30.4 yards per return. He then played for Miami from 2023 to 2024 and Houston in 2025.
The Giants signed him June 1. He was released at the 53-man cut and re-signed to the practice squad Aug. 31. Against Dallas he played 12 offensive snaps and had a 28-yard kickoff return.
