Overview
Micah McFadden is a linebacker in his fifth season with the Giants, who drafted him in the fifth round, No. 146 overall, out of Indiana in 2022. At Indiana he earned All-Big Ten honors in each of his last three seasons and led the Hoosiers in tackles three straight years.
He started all 14 games he played in 2024. Against New Orleans that season he had 11 tackles and five tackles for loss, becoming only the second Giant since 1999, after Michael Strahan, with five tackles for loss in a game. Through four seasons he has played 48 regular-season games with 36 starts, six sacks and 26 tackles for loss.
He hurt his foot in the 2025 opener against Washington and missed the rest of the season. The Giants re-signed him in March 2026 to a one-year deal worth $3.75 million, with up to $2 million more in incentives. He is part of a linebacker group that includes free-agent signing Tremaine Edmunds and first-round pick Arvell Reese.
