Giants' Reported QB Options Include Garoppolo, Minshew, McCarthy

Free agent Jimmy Garoppolo, Gardner Minshew II, J.J. McCarthy, Mac Jones and Justin Fields are on the Giants' list of possible quarterback additions, ESPN reported Sunday.
The Giants have talked with Garoppolo's camp this week, but he has not worked out for the team. Brandon Allen, released by the Giants on Aug. 30, is a sixth option.
Garoppolo is the only one of the five not under contract. Minshew, McCarthy, Jones and Fields are on the active rosters of Arizona, Minnesota, San Francisco and Kansas City, respectively.
Jameis Winston starts Sunday's 1 p.m. game with Jaxson Dart on injured reserve and out for the regular season. The Giants signed Jake Haener from the practice squad Saturday as Winston's backup.
