Colton Hood is a rookie cornerback whom the Giants drafted in the second round, No. 37 overall, on April 24, 2026. He signed his rookie contract May 12.

Hood played at three schools in three seasons: Auburn in 2023, Colorado in 2024 and Tennessee in 2025. He started all 12 games in his only season at Tennessee, finishing with 50 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and eight pass breakups, and was named second-team All-SEC by the AP and a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award. Across 29 college games with 13 starts, he had 77 tackles, three interceptions and 14 pass breakups. At the NFL Scouting Combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds.

Hood made his first career start in Week 2 at the Rams, replacing Deonte Banks, who was inactive with a calf injury, in a secondary that had already lost Paulson Adebo to injured reserve.
