Overview
Paulson Adebo is a veteran cornerback in his sixth NFL season and his second with the Giants. The New Orleans Saints drafted him out of Stanford in the third round, No. 76 overall, in 2021, and he started 51 of 52 games in four seasons there. His 2024 season ended after seven starts when he broke his femur.
The Giants signed Adebo as a free agent March 13, 2025, on a deal NFL Media's Mike Garafolo reported at three years, $54 million, with $36 million guaranteed. He started 12 games in 2025 and has 63 career starts.
Adebo played 10 defensive snaps in the Week 1 win over Dallas, then appeared on the next injury report with a knee issue and did not practice. The Giants placed him on injured reserve Sept. 18. Coach John Harbaugh called it "not a long-term knee issue, but one that's going to keep him out for a few weeks." Asked about a possible clean-up procedure, Harbaugh said, "I would say no to that right now, but don't hold me to it."
