Overview

Tyler Nubin enters his third season as one of the Giants' starting safeties, working for the first time under defensive leadership brought in by head coach John Harbaugh. The Giants drafted Nubin in the second round, 47th overall, out of Minnesota in 2024, signing him to a four-year rookie contract worth $8.2 million with $5.9 million guaranteed.

Nubin started 13 games as a rookie in 2024, recording 98 tackles before a high-ankle sprain ended his season. He started 13 more games in 2025, finishing with 78 tackles, seven for loss, two passes defensed and a fumble-recovery touchdown against Minnesota before a neck injury put him on injured reserve in late December.
