Overview
Jevon Holland is entering his second season with the Giants after signing a three-year, $45.3 million contract in March 2025 free agency that included $30.3 million guaranteed. Miami drafted Holland second round, 36th overall, out of Oregon in 2021 — the first safety taken that year — and he spent four seasons with the Dolphins, highlighted by a 99-yard interception return for a touchdown in 2023.
The Giants restructured Holland's contract in September 2026, converting most of his $12.9 million base salary into a signing bonus. The move lowered his 2026 salary to $1.215 million and created about $5.84 million in immediate cap relief by shifting the difference to the 2027 cap, bringing New York to roughly $12.7 million in remaining 2026 cap space. It does not change his role.
Holland remains the Giants' starting free safety, pairing with Tyler Nubin, and played in New York's 28-20 Week 1 win over Dallas.
