The Giants had not issued a statement on the outcome of Jaxson Dart's knee surgery as of Saturday, a day after the operation, and Dan Duggan of The Athletic said he didn't know why — though he added he hasn't heard of any complications.
Responding on X to a fan who tagged Duggan, the Giants and several other reporters asking for an update, Duggan wrote Saturday: "Usually the team handles the 'successful surgery' announcement. Not sure why there hasn't been one. But I haven't heard of any problems/complications. I will say, I have heard the four-month timeline is fantasy. But it's 11 months until training camp, so onto rehab..."
Giants.com had not posted an update on the surgery's outcome as of Saturday afternoon, and the team's X account's most recent posts made no mention of Dart. Dart had knee surgery Friday to repair a torn meniscus, with damage to his MCL and PCL addressed if necessary, according to GiantsGator's earlier reporting.
The silence drew attention on BigBlueInteractive.com's Corner Forum, where a thread titled "Regarding Dart's surgery," started by poster Arnie D. Saturday morning, had drawn 25 posts by Saturday afternoon. "I've checked everywhere, including with AI, and there's been no official announcement from the Giants on how his surgery went," Arnie D. wrote. "So far, crickets."
