Giants' Final Injury Report Lists No Designations vs. Cardinals; Andrew Thomas Limited
Deonte Banks and Tyler Nubin practiced fully after calf injuries, and center John Michael Schmitz missed practice for a personal reason.
The Giants listed no player with a game-status designation on their final injury report Friday for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Left tackle Andrew Thomas returned to practice Friday as a limited participant after missing Wednesday and Thursday with a groin injury. Coach John Harbaugh said at his Friday news conference that Thomas is trending in the right direction.
Center John Michael Schmitz missed Friday's practice for a personal reason and carries no designation. Harbaugh said Schmitz "has a personal family thing going on" and said he expects Schmitz to be ready for the game.
Cornerback Deonte Banks and safety Tyler Nubin were full participants Friday after limited practices Wednesday and Thursday. Banks missed the last two games with a calf injury, and Nubin missed the Week 3 win over Tennessee with a calf injury.
Running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (knee) also practiced fully Friday after sitting out Wednesday and working on a limited basis Thursday.
Harbaugh said the Giants are "not announcing" their backup quarterback roles behind starter Jameis Winston and are "probably still figuring it out" with J.J. McCarthy and Jake Haener.
The Athletic's Dan Duggan reported Friday that the Giants signed center Kendrick Green to their practice squad.
Arizona had not released its final injury report as of 4:20 p.m. ET.
The Giants (2-1) host the Cardinals (1-2) at 1 p.m. Sunday at MetLife Stadium. The game airs on CBS.
